Adam Schiff has finally left the United States House of Representatives. Sadly, Schiff will move to a more powerful position to represent California in the United States Senate. Schiff moved to the Senate early because he is succeeding an appointed Senator. Schiff’s early move to the Senate allows him to build seniority and get a jump start on obstructing the upcoming nomination process for President Trump’s nominees. Schiff will be eager to obstruct Trump’s agenda in the United States Senate as Schiff is one of the leaders of the “Get Trump” movement. Schiff is a “client” of Authentic Campaigns, a firm owned by Judge Merchan’s daughter, Loren Merchan. FEC records show that Schiff for Senate made 61 payments to Authentic Campaigns in 2023 and 2024, with two payments of over a quarter million dollars made in October 2024. Schiff has already attacked President Trump’s FBI nominee Kash Patel’s “ethics.” It is very hypocritical of Schiff to attack Trump and Patel’s “ethics” when Schiff is a “client” of Authentic Campaigns. Schiff’s early move to the Senate is yet another reason why the Senate GOP must remain united during the process to confirm Trump’s nominees.
On Friday, Adam Schiff announced via letter to Speaker Mike Johnson that he is resigning from the House of Representatives to become California’s United States Senator. Schiff moved to the Senate early because he is succeeding an appointed Senator. Schiff’s early move to the Senate allows him to build seniority and get a jump start on obstructing the upcoming nomination process for President Trump’s nominees.
Laura Loomer posted on the Schiff developments “He’s going to try to help the Democrats reclaim the Senate so they can impeach President Trump and help the @SenateDems obstruct President Trump’s cabinet picks ahead of the confirmation hearings in the Senate. This is why he timed his resignation ahead of the Confirmation hearings.”
Schiff has already begun attacking President Trump’s nominees. In a recent X post, Schiff attacked Trump and Patel’s ethics and called Patel an internet troll: “Kash Patel has publicly called for arresting members of the media and government officials. And he is willing to do whatever Trump asks, illegal, unethical or otherwise. More suited as an internet troll than FBI Director, the Senate must reject him.”
It is hypocritical for Schiff to attack Trump and Patel’s ethics when Schiff is a client of Authentic Campaigns, a firm owned by Judge Merchan’s daughter, Loren Merchan. FEC records show that Schiff for Senate made 61 payments to Authentic Campaigns in 2023 and 2024, with two payments of over a quarter million dollars made in October 2024. Other significant payments made by Schiff for Senate to Authentic Campaigns include $2 million on February 2nd, 2024, and $3 million on January 18th, 2024.
Schiff is a leader of the “Get Trump” movement. It is easy to see why Senate Democrats wanted Schiff to join their obstruction efforts early. Schiff’s early move to the Senate is yet another reason why the Senate GOP must remain united, as the Left’s obstruction efforts will be relentless and possibly lawless.
