EXCLUSIVE: Chief Judge Boasberg Halts Trump Admin’s Deportation of Tren de Aragua Gang Members, Omits Daughter’s Employment By Pro-Criminal Illegal Alien 501c3

Chief United States District Judge James Boasberg has issued a ruling halting President Donald Trump’s invocation of the Alien Enemies Act to deport members of the Tren de Aragua gang, a decision that has sparked controversy due to an undisclosed family connection. Judge Boasberg’s daughter, Katherine Boasberg, is employed by Partners for Justice, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization known for its vocal opposition to mass deportations and legislation targeting criminal gang members, including the Laken Riley Act.

According to LinkedIn records, Katherine Boasberg serves as a “Capacity Building Associate” at Partners for Justice, where she coordinates grant activities, ensures compliance, and supports programs aimed at bolstering nonprofit infrastructure. The organization describes its mission on its website as “transforming public defenders into a robust network of dynamic, people-centered service centers to reduce incarceration, increase equity, and positively impact the lives of those harmed by cycles of incarceration, poor health, and poverty.” Since its founding in 2018, Partners for Justice claims to have connected thousands of individuals with stabilizing services and reduced jail and prison sentences by an estimated 5,000 years.

The nonprofit has been a staunch critic of policies targeting gang members, including the Laken Riley Act. In a video statement, Partners for Justice founder Emily Galvin-Almanza argued that gang-specific laws disproportionately affect Black and Hispanic individuals, asserting, “The creation of gang laws lets prosecutors subject Black and brown people to a completely different set of rules in court.” She further suggested that such laws, which target groups like Tren de Aragua, perpetuate racial inequities, noting that “99% of people in jail for gang activity are Black and/or Hispanic.”

Adding to the scrutiny, Galvin-Almanza recently posted on X about Judge Boasberg’s ruling against Trump’s deportation efforts targeting Venezuelan gang members.

Under the Code of Conduct for United States Judges, a judge must recuse themselves from proceedings where their impartiality might reasonably be questioned. The disqualification clause specifically includes situations where a judge’s close relative, such as a daughter, has “an interest that could be substantially affected by the outcome of the proceeding.” Legal experts suggest that Katherine Boasberg’s role at Partners for Justice, an organization with a clear stance against the policies in question, may meet this threshold.

President Trump has called for Judge Boasberg impeachment with a Truth Social post reading, “This Radical Left Lunatic of a Judge, a troublemaker and agitator who was sadly appointed by Barack Hussein Obama, was not elected President – He didn’t WIN the popular VOTE (by a lot!), he didn’t WIN ALL SEVEN SWING STATES, he didn’t WIN 2,750 to 525 Counties, HE DIDN’T WIN ANYTHING! I WON FOR MANY REASONS, IN AN OVERWHELMING MANDATE, BUT FIGHTING ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION MAY HAVE BEEN THE NUMBER ONE REASON FOR THIS HISTORIC VICTORY. I’m just doing what the VOTERS wanted me to do. This judge, like many of the Crooked Judges’ I am forced to appear before, should be IMPEACHED!!! WE DON’T WANT VICIOUS, VIOLENT, AND DEMENTED CRIMINALS, MANY OF THEM DERANGED MURDERERS, IN OUR COUNTRY. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!”

Judge Boasberg’s ruling and its surrounding controversy come as the Trump administration continues to push for stricter immigration enforcement, setting the stage for a contentious legal battle. Further developments are expected as the administration weighs its next steps.
