EXCLUSIVE: NPR White House Reporter Strikes President Trump With Microphone, Raising Questions Of Intention

An investigation conducted by journalist Laura Loomer has revealed that NPR White House reporter Danielle Kurtzleben was responsible for striking President Donald Trump in the face with a microphone on a tarmac last week. Kurtzleben, who has a history of writing articles critical of the President, has come under scrutiny following the incident.

Video evidence from the 2024 election cycle shows Kurtzleben reporting that President Trump’s visit to Howell, Michigan, was motivated by its alleged association with the Ku Klux Klan and white supremacists. However, the President’s visit was intended to unveil policies aimed at revitalizing the Rust Belt region, with Howell serving as a strategically important location.

Kurtzleben has previously drawn comparisons between President Trump’s speeches and those of Adolf Hitler. During her coverage of the sole presidential debate between Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris in 2024, she wrote, “The vice presidential debate is especially significant because there was only one presidential debate between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Harris,” NPR’s Danielle Kurtzleben wrote. She further claimed that Trump “lost” to Harris in the debate.

Since assuming her role as NPR’s White House reporter, Kurtzleben has focused on engaging with transgender, nonbinary, and intersex federal workers who claim to have been adversely affected by Executive Orders issued by the Trump administration.

Eighteen minutes after Laura Loomer exposed Kurtzleben’s alleged actions on X, identifying her as @titonka, the reporter locked her account and protected her tweets, limiting public access to her past statements and opinions.

Laura Loomer’s reporting on the incident garnered significant attention, amassing millions of views on X. Elon Musk responded to the scoop with “!!”, while New York Post columnist Miranda Devine commented, “Wow. Another scoop from the hardworking @lauraloomer. NPR should reassign Kurtzleben. If they refuse, they should be barred from the WH pool. She should be nowhere near the president. Zero excuse for that assault. She’s just lucky Donald Trump is such a cool customer. Bizarro Joe Biden would have made such a fuss she probably would have been tackled to the ground by the USSS.”

The incident has raised questions among observers about whether Kurtzleben’s alleged actions were intentional, given her history of critical reporting on the President. NPR and Kurtzleben’s responses to Laura Loomer’s investigation will be closely watched in the coming days as the story continues to develop.
