EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Senate Democrat Leadership Refuses To Answer Questions About “Slow Walking” Floor Votes For Trump’s Nominees

On Wednesday, Senator Amy Klobuchar, the number three ranked Senate Democrat, refused to answer Loomer Unleashed’s questions about the Senate Democrats efforts of slow-walking President Trump’s nominees’ floor votes. On Wednesday afternoon, news broke that Pete Hegseth may finally get his floor confirmation vote before Saturday. Considering that the Senate Armed Services Committee approved Hegseth’s nomination for a floor vote on Monday. It is shocking that it has taken Hegseth’s nomination this long to make it to a floor vote.  Senate Democrats’ slow walking of Trump’s nominees is having a drastic impact as confirmation hearings for other nominees like Kash Patel can not begin until nominees like Hegseth are voted on. Senate Democrats are determined to obstruct President Trump’s secure border policies, which is why they are slow-walking Hegseth and other Trump nominee’s floor votes. It is gratifying to see that Senate Republicans are determined to hold the Senate in session this upcoming weekend to break through the obstruction of Senate Democrats.

Amy Klobuchar, the third-ranked Senate Democrat, sprinted into her committee hearing after Loomer Unleashed asked her, “Why is the Senate Democrat Leadership slow-walking President Trump’s Nominees confirmation floor votes?”

On Tuesday night, Senate Majority Leader John Thune threatened to keep the Senate in session over the weekend if Senate Democrats did not stop their slow-walking efforts, which resulted in President Trump’s nominees’ floor confirmation votes being held up in limbo. Thune posted to X, “As I’ve repeatedly said, Senate Republicans are ready to work as long as needed to confirm President Trump’s nominees. Nights. Weekends. Recesses.”

Florida United States Senator Rick Scott also criticized Senate Democrats’ obstruction efforts, posting, “On Jan. 20, 2021, Joe Biden took office and nominated Lloyd Austin to lead the DoD. On Jan. 22, 2021, the Senate confirmed him. Well, it’s Jan. 22nd, and Democrats STILL won’t allow @PeteHegseth ’s confirmation vote on the floor without forcing Republicans into a days-long procedure—enough of Democrats’ games. President Trump needs Pete and his entire cabinet confirmed ASAP.”

Senate Democrats are determined to obstruct President Trump’s secure border policies, which is why they are slow-walking Hegseth and other Trump nominee’s floor votes. It is important to note that Senate Armed Services Member Elizabeth Warren refused to answer Loomer Unleashed’s question, “What qualifies you to vote against Pete Hegseth when you support dangerous open border policies?”

Last Tuesday, Warren called Hegseth on X “the most unqualified Defense Secretary nominee in US history…How can we trust him to protect our national security?”

It is interesting that Warren chooses to attack Hegseth’s qualifications when Warren supports dangerous open border policies. Warren once referred to mass deportations as a policy that is “going in the wrong direction,” posting, “Republican demands are so extreme that if passed they would be the most severe immigration restriction since the 1920s racial quota laws. Mass deportations & gutting the asylum system not only betray our values, but create more chaos at the border. This is the wrong direction.”

It is clear that Senate Democrats only want to obstruct Trump’s nominees in an effort to save Kamala Harris’s open borders. The Senate GOP should be applauded if they keep the Senate in session this weekend to work through the Senate Democrats’ obstruction efforts.
