During his time as a Florida State Representative, Tom Leek’s Living Life With Purpose PAC accepted donations from the Florida Education Association. According to the Florida Education Association’s website, the education union is, “One of five ”merged” states, meaning we(The Florida Education Association) are affiliated with both the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) and the National Education Association (NEA).” The American Federation of Teachers has endorsed Kamala Harris, and its President, Randi Weingarten, is a Trump hater and pro-masker. The National Education Association has also endorsed Kamala Harris. Tom Leek’s liberal backing has not gone unnoticed, as President Trump has endorsed Leek’s GOP Primary Opponent, David Shoar. The facts are clear: Florida Senate District Seven voters can not trust Tom Leek with their child’s education.
Florida campaign finance records state that Tom Leek chairs the PAC Living Life With Purpose, and the PAC supports Tom Leek.
Florida campaign finance records also show that the Florida Education Association donated $2,500 to Leek’s Living Life With Purpose PAC in 2021 and 2023.
According to the Florida Education Association’s website, the union is “merged” with the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) and the National Education Association (NEA), “FEA is one of five ‘merged’ states, meaning we are affiliated with both the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) and the National Education Association (NEA). AFT and NEA have a combined membership of four million educators. FEA and its local unions are also part of the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO) and the Florida AFL-CIO.”
The American Federation of Teachers has endorsed Kamala Harris with their statement reading, “The AFT has officially endorsed Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee for president. Delegates from across the nation overwhelmingly voted during a special order of business on Monday, roaring their approval to ratify a resolution passed unanimously by the union’s executive council the night before. The AFT is the first union to endorse Harris.”
The American Federation of Teachers President Randi Weingarten is a Trump hater and pro-masker. It should come as no surprise that Florida Education Association members attended a “masked gala” with the Florida Education Association X post reading, “EA officers @andrewsparfea, @cgauronskas and Nandi Riley attended@UTD_AFT1974’s Mask-uerade Gala. The event featured keynote speaker and awardee Frank Martin, head basketball coach at University of South Carolina and former UTD member. #FundOurFutureFL.”
The National Education Association has also endorsed Kamala Harris, with a statement reading, “The choice in this election couldn’t be clearer. The 3-million members of the NEA will show their power by turning out, volunteering, and making their voices heard because we know that electing Kamala Harris and Tim Walz is the only way we can take America forward.”
Tom Leek’s liberal backing has not gone unnoticed, as President Trump has endorsed Leek’s GOP Primary Opponent David Shoar. President Trump’s TruthSocial endorsement read, “David Shoar is a tremendous America First Patriot who is running to represent the incredible people of Florida’s 7th State Senate District!”

Tom Leek has taken donations from unions working against your kids and President Trump. The voters of Florida’s Seventh State Senate Seat must ensure that Tom Leek is overwhelmingly defeated at the ballot box as RINOs have no business getting elected in Florida.
