Kamala Harris’s Marxist Upbringing Exposed

President Trump has spoken in detail about how Kamala Harris’s father, Don Harris, was an economic Marxist professor, but Kamala’s father was not the only family figure in Kamala’s life with Marxist ties. The book Stealth: Kamala Harris’s Communist Roots by Trevor Loudon exposes how Kamala’s mom, Shyamala, influenced Kamala’s embracement of far-left policies. Loundon exposes in Stealth that while Kamala was a child and living in Berkeley with her mom, Kamala was introduced to Mary Lewis and her husband, Sherman L. Williams. Lewis, Williams, and Shyamala worked together to lay the groundwork to create the Afro-American Association, a far-left group that recruited guest speakers to their events like Maya Angelou, who was an outspoken supporter of Fidel Castro. Loudon’s book Stealth also exposes how Kamala’s mother frequently took Kamala during her childhood to Rainbow Sign 19, a Marxist hangout in Berkley, where Maya Angelou was a frequent guest. Loudon’s book also includes the November 12th, 1976, article in the Stanford Daily that announced the university hired “Marxist Ecomnicst Professor” Don Harris. It is clear that far-left influences have always played a large part in Kamala Harris’s life.

Trevor Loudon’s Stealth: Kamala Harris’s Communist Roots exposes that Kamala Harris’s mom, Shyamala, played a major role, like Kamala Harris’s father, in exposing Kamala to far-left policies. Loundon writes that Shyamala became close to Mary Lewis in Berkeley, “Mary Lewis would become a close friend to Shyamala and godmother to Kamala, known to her as ‘Aunt Mary.’ Her husband, Sherman L. Williams, would be known as ‘Uncle Sherman.’”

Loudon goes on to explain that Mary Lewis “laid the groundwork for what is now known as the African American Association [Afro-American Association]” at UC Berkeley.”

The Afro-American Association courted the leading Marxist speakers of the 1960s to speak at its events, which included ” civil rights militant Fannie Lou Hamer, radical poet Maya Angelou and LeRoi Jones—who later became a leader of the Maoist-oriented League of Revolutionary Struggle under his new name, Amiri Baraka.”

Interestingly, Loundon’s book explains that Shyamala was the only white member of the Afro-American Association, “According to ‘Uncle Aubrey’, Shyamala Gopalan was the original study group’s only non-black member — the exception that proved the rule. ‘Her inclusion had a lot to do with the fact that we were really supportive of the Third World liberation movement, so we didn’t really get into that whole debate who was ‘black’ or not,’ Labrie says.”

After becoming the Democrat nominee, Kamala Harris’s race has become a talking point, as Kamala previously stated she is Indian. Now Kamala is telling voters she is black. Kamala’s mom being considered white by the Afro-American Association is eye-opening, to say the least.

The Afro-American Association was not Kamala Harris’s only childhood exposure to far-left groups. Shyamala Harris would frequently take Kamala to the Berkely club known as The Rainbow Sign.

Loudon explains the Marxists who attended the Rainbow Sign, which included “Maya Angelou, of course, is notorious for her support for Cuba’s Fidel Castro. James Baldwin, a militant socialist, was close at various times to the Young People’s Socialist League, the pro-Stalin Communist Party USA, and the pro-Mao Black Panthers. The Rainbow Sign featured a piece by communist sympathizing sculptress Elizabeth Catlett.24 Paintings by leftist artists Romare Kofi Bailey and Cleveland Bellow adorned the walls.”

Kamala Harris has written that attending the club Rainbow Sign was her favorite night of the week, “My favorite night of the week was Thursday. On Thursdays, you could always find us in an unassuming beige building on the corner of what was then Grove Street and Derby. Once a mortuary . . . My mother, Maya, and I went to the Rainbow Sign often. Everyone in the neighborhood knew us as Shyamala and the girls. We were a unit, a team, and when we’d show up at the Rainbow Sign, we were always greeted with big smiles and warm hugs.”

Loudon’s book also includes the November 12th, 1976, article in the Stanford Daily that announced the university hired “Marxist Ecomnicst Professor” Don Harris, “On November 12, 1976, a letter appeared in the Stanford Daily  headed ‘Faculty column misstates record’ signed by members of  the Stanford branch of the URPE, claiming full credit for Harris’s  appointment.”

Kamala’s father regularly published books and articles calling capitalism “racist. “Don Harris regularly churned out papers with titles such as “The Black Ghetto as Colony: A Theoretical Critique” (1972) and “Capitalist Exploitation and Black Labor: Some Conceptual Issues.”

Kamala Harris’s embracement of radical left policies like open borders, packing the United States Supreme Court, and high taxes began at an early age. It is clear that if elected, Kamala Harris will transform the United States into the communist utopia that her parents dreamed about.
