Montana United States Senator Jon Tester loves having his cake and eating it too. On Monday, Senator Tester informed local Montana media that he is not endorsing Kamala Harris because he is “up for election.” Tester has long supported Kamala Harris, endorsing her as Joe Biden’s VP in 2020. Tester also recruited Kamala Harris to run for the United States Senate in 2016. In July, Tester refused to answer Loomer Unleashed’s questions about his support of Kamala. Tester’s voting and public statement record also show his policies align with Kamala’s. President Trump has made it very clear that Tester was no ally of his. During his Montana rally, Trump said, “One of the most sinister accomplices in Kamala Harris’s plot to demolish America’s borders has been her ally and partner in the U.S. Senate, one of the biggest phonies in American politics, Jon Tester.”
With President Trump leading in Montana by a lot, Senator Tester is attempting to sell himself as a “moderate” to Montana voters. However, Tester’s voting record, endorsements, and public statements prove he is not “moderate.” The reality is that there is no such thing as a “moderate” Democrat in Chuck Schumer and Kamala Harris’s United States Senate. Montana voters must defeat Senator Tester by a lot at the ballot box.
