Something strange is happening in Washington, and most of the media won’t say a word about it. But regular Americans see it for what it is: the political swamp trying to destroy anyone who dares to question endless war, wasteful foreign aid, or the military-industrial complex. That’s exactly what’s going on with the latest attacks on Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.
This week, Greene was praised by none other than CODEPINK, a far-left, anti-American activist group that has a long history of cozying up to terrorist regimes and communist dictators. And just like clockwork, the political establishment and their media lapdogs jumped at the chance to smear Greene for simply having a conversation with someone they don’t like.
CODEPINK co-founder Medea Benjamin showed up at Greene’s office wearing a shirt supporting “Palestinian Liberation” and thanking the congresswoman for being an anti-war voice. Now, let’s be clear: CODEPINK has been linked to Hamas, the Chinese Communist Party, and even the Castro regime. There’s no question they’re dangerous and radically out of touch with American values.
But here’s where it gets interesting. Instead of pandering to the mob or apologizing, Greene stood her ground. She said what millions of Americans have been saying for years: we are tired of endless wars, tired of sending our money and our troops overseas while our own country falls apart. Greene said, “I’m America First and fully against funding foreign wars and support peace because that’s good for everyone, especially for the most innocent people, children.”
Now, the media wants you to believe that just because Greene spoke to someone on the far-left, she must agree with everything they say. That’s absurd. It’s the same media that praises politicians for “reaching across the aisle” — but only when it benefits their side. When someone like Greene does it, all of a sudden it’s “controversial.”
Let’s not forget the bigger picture here. CODEPINK is not just another protest group. They’ve received funding tied to Neville Roy Singham, a billionaire with deep ties to communist China. They’ve defended the Chinese regime, denied the Uyghur genocide, and tried to downplay the CCP’s growing threat to our country. They’ve stood with Hamas and even stayed in Hamas-owned hotels. This is not a group any conservative would normally associate with.
But Greene isn’t endorsing CODEPINK’s radical views. What she is doing is pointing out something that even the far-left occasionally gets right: the United States has no business dragging itself into every foreign conflict. And that’s a message that both the left and right — if they’re honest — can agree on.
The truth is, Greene has been one of the only voices in Congress calling out the swamp’s addiction to war. While Democrats and establishment Republicans keep writing blank checks to Ukraine, Israel, and whoever else asks for them, Greene is asking the one question no one else will: What about America?
She’s tired of seeing our borders wide open while we secure the borders of other countries. She’s tired of watching our veterans sleep on the streets while we send billions to foreign nations. And most of all, she’s tired of being told to shut up and fall in line.
That’s why the establishment hates her. She doesn’t play their game. She doesn’t care about being liked by lobbyists or praised by CNN. She cares about the people who sent her to Washington — the forgotten Americans who just want their country back.
Now, Greene is stepping away from Congress in January, and it’s no surprise that the swamp is celebrating. They think they’ve silenced a thorn in their side. But they’re wrong. Because Greene represents something bigger than herself. She represents a movement — a movement that’s sick of being lied to, sick of being ignored, and ready to put America First again.
So while the media throws stones and CODEPINK tries to score points, the rest of us see what’s really going on. Greene had the courage to speak the truth, even when it was unpopular. And that’s something every American should respect.
