Congressional Democrats continue to display their hypocrisy to their American people. New York Rep. Dan Goldman, who is one of the most influential and wealthiest members of Congress, recently appeared on CNN and stated that President Trump’s nominations of Matt Gaetz as Attorney General, Tulsi Gabbard as DNI, and Pete Hegseth as Secretary of Defense would allow President Trump to “abuse power.” It is interesting that Goldman would accuse President Trump and his nominees of “abusing power” because Goldman informed MSNBC that he “deposed Michael Cohen and met with him several times to prepare him” to testify against President Trump in Trump’s New York trial.” Making matters worse is that Goldman sent checks to the home of Judge Merchan’s daughter. Judge Merchan presided over President Trump’s trial in New York City. Rep. Goldman appeared not to want the public to know that he was sending checks to the home of Judge Merchan’s daughter as he reported spending directed towards Judge Merchan’s daughter on his FEC report as Authentic Campaign instead of Authentic Campaigns. Goldman faked a phone call to avoid Loomer Unleashed’s questions about his payments to Judge Merchan’s daughter and his “deposition” of Cohen. Congressional Democrats should look at themselves in the mirror before they criticize President Trump’s nominees.
New York Rep. Dan Goldman recently appeared on CNN and stated that President Trump’s nominations of Matt Gaetz as Attorney General, Tulsi Gabbard as DNI, and Pete Hegseth as Secretary of Defense would allow President Trump to “abuse power.” Goldman captioned his appearance on CNN, “Trump has only one “qualification” for his nominations: loyalty. Installing MAGA sycophants—Gaetz, Gabbard and Hegseth—would let him abuse power without guardrails. Senators must uphold their oath and reject unqualified sycophants for the most important government positions.”
It is quite hypocritical of Dan Goldman to accuse President Trump and his nominees of abusing power when Goldman admitted to MSNBC that he “deposed Michael Cohen and met with him several times to prepare him” to testify against President Trump in Trump’s New York trial.
Rep. Goldman seemed quite eager to abuse his power to “Get Trump,” as FEC records show that Rep.Goldman had sent over $162,091.92. Goldman even made a payment on March 26, 2024, right before Trump’s trial began on April 15, 2024. Goldman sent these payments to Judge Merchan’s daughter’s home in Richmond, Virginia, valued at $639,000. Goldman attempted to cover up that he made the payments to Loren Merchan’s personal home by spelling Authentic Campaign on the FEC report instead of Authentic Campaigns.
Rep.Goldman faked a phone call when Loomer Unleashed asked him if he believed advising Michael Cohen and being a client of Judge Merchan’s daughter was a conflict of interest. After Goldman started faking a phone call, we told him, “These are important questions. I do not really think he is on the phone. I think he is trying to avoid a question about being Loren Merchan’s client, and he advised Michael Cohen, and that is very bad for him.”
Over the next few months, America is going to witness people like Dan Goldman, who will attack President Trump’s political nominations with false allegations when in fact, the reality is that the Democrat attacking Trump’s nominee is the one guilty of the allegations. The Democrats never fail to show the American people that they are indeed the party of hypocrisy.
