President Trump Makes Good On His Promises To Stop Illegal Immigration And Fentanyl By Announcing Tariffs On Mexico and Canada

Promises made, promises kept. President Trump announced on Monday night that he would be implementing tariffs on China, Mexico, and Canada to force those countries to work with the United States to stop the flow of fentanyl into America. The tariffs on Canada and Mexico also aim to force those countries to work with the United States to stop the flow of illegal immigration into America. During the election, Kamala and her elected Democrats supported the policies of open borders and fentanyl legalization, while Trump and elected Republicans supported secure borders and strict fentanyl policies. Not only did Kamala’s policies of open borders and fentanyl legalization cause her to lose, but it also caused long-time Rust Belt U.S. Senators Bob Casey of Pennsylvania and Sherrod Brown of Ohio to lose their elections, playing a significant role in Republicans retaking the Senate. It is clear that voters gave President Trump a mandate to do whatever was necessary to stop the flow of illegal immigration and fentanyl into America.

President Trump announced on TruthSocial that it was time Canada and Mexico pay for the failures that have allowed illegal immigrants and fentanyl to flow across America’s borders, “As everyone is aware, thousands of people are pouring through Mexico and Canada, bringing Crime and Drugs at levels never seen before. Right now a Caravan coming from Mexico, composed of thousands of people, seems to be unstoppable in its quest to come through our currently Open Border. On January 20th, as one of my many first Executive Orders, I will sign all necessary documents to charge Mexico and Canada a 25% Tariff on ALL products coming into the United States, and its ridiculous Open Borders. This Tariff will remain in effect until such time as Drugs, in particular Fentanyl, and all Illegal Aliens stop this Invasion of our Country! Both Mexico and Canada have the absolute right and power to easily solve this long simmering problem. We hereby demand that they use this power, and until such time that they do, it is time for them to pay a very big price!

China will also pay a steep price for their complicity in America’s fentanyl crisis as Trump posted, “Representatives of China told me that they would institute their maximum penalty, that of death, for any drug dealers caught doing this but, unfortunately, they never followed through, and drugs are pouring into our Country, mostly through Mexico, at levels never seen before. Until such time as they stop, we will be charging China an additional 10% Tariff, above any additional Tariffs, on all of their many products coming into the United States of America. Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown refused to answer our question, asking, “Senator, do you think we should decriminalize Fentanyl like what Kamala Harris says? Do you agree with Kamala Harris that we should decriminalize Fentanyl? Senator Brown, one more time, how would you feel if an illegal Haitian migrant ate your dog? Considering that you allowed all these illegal immigrants into Ohio by voting to give Haitians amnesty, would you like to comment on that?”

Kamala Harris and her Democrats ran on open borders and fentanyl legalization and lost, thus giving President Trump a mandate from the American people to do whatever needs to be done to secure the border and stop the flow of fentanyl.
