For the second time in less than twenty-four hours, Loomer Unleashed confronted Wisconsin United States Senator Tammy Baldwin on her “insider trading for me, but not for thee policies.” On Tuesday, Senator Baldwin refused to answer after we asked her if she shared insider stock information with her girlfriend, Maria Brisbane, who works for Morgan Stanley. Our question to Senator Baldwin about her sharing insider Wall Street information with her Wall Street girlfriend was a follow-up to our Monday question to Baldwin when we asked her why she sponsored legislation allowing her to share insider trading information with her Wall Street girlfriend. The bill Senator Baldwin is sponsoring, the Ban Congressional Stock Trading Act, bans United States House and Senate members from sharing insider stock information with their spouses. However, the rule would not apply to Senator Baldwin and her girlfriend, Maria Brisbane, because Baldwin and Brisbane are not married despite living together for years. It is ironic how Democrats push for marriage equality, but elected Democrats like Senator Baldwin have no interest in getting married for what seems to be because of obvious financial reasons. Senator Baldwin is the latest example of Kamala Harris and her elected Democrats having no issue embracing hypocrisy.
Senator Baldwin refused to answer our question on Tuesday outside of the Hart Senate Office Building after we asked her, “Senator Baldwin, did you share insider stock information with your Wall Street girlfriend?”
