Trump’s Border Czar To Dem Governors Shielding Illegals: ‘Get The Hell Out Of The Way’

President-elect Donald Trump’s new border czar signaled to Democrat governors attempting to protect illegal aliens in their states that if they won’t comply with the federal government then they need to move out of the way and not obstruct removal proceedings.

Tom Homan, who served as Trump’s acting director for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) during his first term in office, made the remarks during a Fox News interview on Monday.

“I’ve been on this network for years complaining about what this administration did to this border. I’ve been yelling and screaming about it and what they need to do to fix it,” he said. “So when the president asked me, ‘Would you come back and fix it?’ Of course. I’d be a hypocrite if I didn’t. I’m honored the president asked me to come back and help solve this national security crisis, so I’m looking forward to it.”

He said that he would love to work with local law enforcement agencies to get the people removed that need to go.

“I’ve seen some of these Democratic governors say they are going to stand in the way, they’re going to make it hard for us,” he said. “I suggest, if you’re not going to help us, get the hell out of the way — because we’re gonna do it.”

“If we can’t get assistance from New York City, we may have to double the number of agents we send to New York City,” he continued. “Because we’re going to do the job, we’re going to do it with you or without you.”
